Technical Oversight Large-scale watercolour mural installed in the mezzanine of a new primary school in Saint-Hyacinthe. Developed from an original plein-air study, the painting was translated into a durable aluminum installation while preserving the fluidity and texture of the brushwork.

I collaborated from early proposal through production and installation, contributing to conceptual development and leading the technical translation of the work. This included digital file preparation, color calibration, large-format scaling, material testing, fabrication coordination, and on-site installation support. The project required adapting the language of watercolour to architectural scale without losing the immediacy of the original painting.

Murale à grande échelle installée dans la mezzanine d’une nouvelle école primaire à Saint-Hyacinthe. Développée à partir d’une étude réalisée en plein air, l’œuvre a été traduite en une installation durable sur aluminium tout en conservant la fluidité et la texture du geste pictural.

J’ai collaboré dès la phase de proposition jusqu’à la production et l’installation, en contribuant au développement conceptuel et en dirigeant la traduction technique de l’œuvre. Mon implication a inclus la préparation des fichiers numériques, le calibrage des couleurs, la mise à l’échelle grand format, les tests de matériaux, la coordination de fabrication et le soutien lors de l’installation. Le projet nécessitait d’adapter le langage de l’aquarelle à l’échelle architecturale sans perdre l’immédiateté de l’œuvre originale.
